To be honest, around 70% of my weekly menu revolve around simple and humble bread. I think 'convenience' is the major reason. Moreover, you can always find new and interesting recipes everywhere starting from sandwiches to bread rolls. Whether you're a fan of bread or not, you're definitely going to love this super simple and easy garlic bread idea.

There's bread, butter, plenty of freshly minced garlic, and rosemary straight from my herb garden. Such a delicious combo! Well, if you don't like rosemary, choose your favorite herb like parsley, chives, mint, or oregano. Each herb flavors the bread in a totally different way. Play around with the flavors, and stick to what you like. Simple! But remember to add plenty of chopped herbs. I love those specks of green on the toasted bread slices. Don't they look so good and pretty?

I think this simple garlic bread is truly amazing that it's going be your star appetizer or starter at your next gathering. And hey, with holidays around the corner, I think it's nearly time to give this a go. What do you say? Truth to be told, the flavor and aroma of these bread slices is totally phenomenal. I'm pretty sure your guests will be super excited about this delicious appetizer.

For the butter, I used salted one in this recipe. Add a little salt to the butter- garlic mixture if the butter is not salted. Now, the garlic. Always go for fresh garlic paste. No store bought ones in this recipe. Fresh garlic gives it that incredible shot of flavor.

And the best part? You can actually brush the bread slices with butter- garlic mixture 3-4 hours ahead. When the guests arrive, all you need to do is grill them up. And that's going to require only a few minutes. Freshly grilled bread. This is the best. Remember bread browns really quickly. So, keep an eye on them. You can also toast the bread to your liking. You know, from soft to really brown. Again, I think that's a huge plus.

This homemade garlic bread is so buttery, garlicky, herby delicious. Just amazing in every way!

I make garlic bread few times a week as my son loves it. I never thought of adding herbs to it before. Thanks for the tip. I'll try that next time.
